Global Congress on Physiotherapy, Physical Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine

The Global Congress on Physiotherapy, Physical Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine will take place on August 2–3, 2027, in Paris, France. This international gathering will bring together physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, sports medicine professionals, clinicians, researchers, educators, movement scientists, healthcare leaders, and technology innovators from around the world. The congress will provide a welcoming platform for sharing clinical experience, presenting original research, discussing innovative methods, and developing collaborations that improve movement, recovery, independence, and physical performance across different populations and healthcare settings.

Guided by the theme “From Recovery to Performance: Advancing Movement, Function, and Human Potential,” the congress will explore the complete journey from injury or illness to functional recovery, confident participation in daily life, return to work, and safe involvement in sport. The program will highlight evidence-based physiotherapy, personalised rehabilitation, injury prevention, pain management, movement assessment, exercise therapy, athlete care, and safe return-to-activity strategies. Special attention will also be given to inclusive care, patient-centred decision-making, and practical approaches that support lasting rehabilitation outcomes.

The scientific programme will combine established clinical practices with emerging developments through keynote lectures, expert talks, panel discussions, practical workshops, oral presentations, poster sessions, and professional networking opportunities. Participants will explore advances in neurological, musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, cardiorespiratory, paediatric, geriatric, community, and sports rehabilitation, while gaining valuable insights from experienced professionals and researchers.
